- Flavor with herbs: you can choose a salmon marinade, for example with herbs and olive oil. Herbs such as dill, chives, oregano, parsley and basil are also widely used on salmon, because they form a delicious combination. Finally, sprinkle some salt over the salmon and let it soak in the fridge for an hour.
- Light barbecue
- Place the salmon in or on the grill grate: you have 2 options for different grill grates that you can use: the height-adjustable grill grate (for smoking) or the 'standard' grill grate that is placed directly above the fire
- Smoke or grill the salmon until done . The salmon is ready as soon as a core temperature of 45 degrees Celsius has been reached. When smoking, this takes about 10 to 15 minutes and when grilling directly over the fire, the salmon is ready sooner.
